Five for Friday

1. No baby, yet. I'm hoping she waits until AFTER I watch The Hunger Games.

2. I was able to get some writing done, along with some other writing related things. Success!

3. Any of you have a book or series you enjoy revisiting? I love rereading Jane Austen works every year and the Sevenwaters Trilogy by Juliet Marillier.

4. I love Groupons. You get great deals for half the price! One groupon we just purchased is for a bowling night at a local bowling alley. I'm super excited. I love bowling. Have I ever mentioned that before? I know, watching a nine month pregnant woman bowl is a sight to behold, but I don't care.

5. The weather here is being awfully confusing. It rains all morning, then clears up in the afternoon, warming up enough to play outside, after which it rains for another hour. By the time dinner time hits it's all clear again, but it's cold. Confusing. Hopefully the weekend it bright with very little rain and some warmth.

Have an awesome weekend everyone!

  1. Groupon? I need to find out more about this. I'm always in for a good deal. And I agree with the weather. I need me some straight up sun.

  2. I love Jane too :) Lately I've been reading a few retellings and I've loved it!

  3. Love rereading the Harry Potter books. And Eva Ibbotson's books.

I hope the baby waits too!

  4. I work in labor and delivery, and it's always drama. May your birth be drama-less...and after The Hunger Games. :)
I also enjoy Jane Austen. My mother-in-law loves her, and I bought her this giant book with all of Austen's works in it. It looks antique, which she's into. I always borrow it from her to re-read the books.

  5. I'm going to see the Hunger Games movie tonight! So excited! When are you planning to go?

    Have a wonderful weekend, Prerna!

  6. Number one on your list cracked me up, but I get it. My kids are seven and five and I still don't get out to the movies much.

However, the hubs is reading The Hunger Games right now, so I'm thinking I'll have a date for this one.

  7. See as many movies as you can before the baby comes! I always wish I'd done that. Now I never see movies. Someday I'll see HG...

  8. The Sevenwaters Trilogy is fantastic. I love all Marillier's books. The series I've reread the most is the Harry Potter series. Hope you get to see the movie before your baby comes. No one here is willing to go with me, so I'll have to wait until it's out on DVD. Have a wonderful weekend.
