Ready. Set. WRITE! Week 4 Update

This is actually my first official update since I have been out of town. It's nice to be home, I have to tell you. I've been away from my computer, my books, my normal life for too long. Although I loved the much needed vacay, I'm glad it's over.

Okay so let's get this thing started.

Goals for this week:
Finish fifty pages of revisions. Read a book.

A favorite line from my story OR phrase that sums up what I wrote/revised:
Nada. That would be it. Haven't done a thing in two weeks.

The biggest challenge I faced this week:
Not being home and away from my laptop.

Something I love about my WIP:
The honesty of the characters. They are both facing things I have never gone through myself and I love watching them grow and overcome those obstacles.

  1. I hope you had a wonderful vacation and totally okay not to do anything but enjoy life and family for a few weeks. Good for you!

    Have a great week!

  2. I'm on vacation this week, and definitely just want to spend time w/the two men in my life. =) Best of luck w/your goals this week!

  3. Vacations are nice, but I know what you mean about being glad to get home finally. It's always comforting to settle back into a normal routine and familiarity again. Good luck with those 50 pages of revisions!

  4. You're in an awesome position in that whatever you accomplish this week will be more than what you got done lats week. :-) Hope you had a wonderful vacation, and best of luck meeting your goals, Prerna!

  5. I'm happy you decided to join us, Prerna! I hope this is a super productive week for you. Also, I like that you set a specific page count goal for your revisions. What a great idea!

  6. Good luck with your goals! I'm glad you were able to get a vacation in and I hope it's recharged you for your revision! Have a great week.

  7. Welcome back and good luck with your goals this week!

  8. Loved reading this, Prerna! I think it's great to publish our goals like this---makes us accountable. And it sounds like your WIP is very character oriented, which is awesome! :-)
